Beyond the anticipation of many, the biggest Border town in Ogun State witnessed one of the distinctive celebration in the history of the city.
Indeed the ancient city of Imeko in Imeko-Afon local government area of Ogun state was transformed into a vivacious carnival of celebration and joy in commemoration of this year’s Eid-el-Adha.
This is as sons and daughters welcomed dignitaries from across Ogun State and beyond to the 20th edition of our flagship Open House Get Together Party.
The annual event is to foster unity, boost economic activities and preserve cultural heritage of the community.
Chief host of the event and lawmaker representing Imeko Afon/Yewa North Federal Constituency, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI) said this year’s edition surpassed all expectations, delivering a remarkable and unforgettable celebration that brought an overwhelming sense of joy and unity to all in attendance. Mr Isiaka said he is humbled and deeply grateful to each and every guest who honoured them with their presence at this event.
The event which was devoid of political affiliations, also witnessed allies of GNI across Ogun State gracing the celebration to further enhance their loyalty to the investment Banker-turned Politician.
It was obviously an avenue for old friends, political and business associates from the town and beyond catching up and rekindle old memories, thanks to the great initiative put together by Prince Isiaka and beautiful wife Deaconess Oluwatoyin Isiaka.
