TUNDE BRAIMOH PARLEY CONSTITUENCY’S STAKEHOLDERS, ASSURES OF MORE DIVIDENDS FROM GOVERNMENT
It was a lively atmosphere on Wednesday 11th September at the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area Secretariat, Ikosi, Lagos venue of Hon Tunde Braimoh’s Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting designed to parley every stakeholders across the lenght and breadth of the Constituency. The event which is a brainchild of the Lagos State House of Assembly was simultaneously done in all 40 Constituencies hosted by each of the respective Lawmaker to highlight and discuss about plight of constituents in community development.
This year’s edition which was the 5th consecutively hosted by Hon Braimoh who represent Kosofe 11 at the State Assembly was well attended not just by leaders of All Progressive Congress in the area but stakeholders including Monarchs, Clerics, both Christian Association Assemblyof Nigeria and League of Imams, Market women, Youth Organizations, Leadership of CDA’s among many others.
With the theme: “Environmental Challenges: Community Engagement To Facilitate Lasting Solution” the meeting saw Hon Braimoh reading out the Keynote address of the day , which was basically to restate the commitment of the Lagos State House of Assembly, to continue discussing issues of concern and greater progress of Lagos State and indeed to educate bcitizens on government policies and activities as well as take complaints of constituents and suggestions back to the executive arm of government for neccessary actions.
Hon Braimoh who seized the opportunity to thank stakeholders in the constituency for their support during the last general election by re-electing him and also all other APC Candidates promise to always serve their interest at the Assembly. He urged members of the constituency to always reach out to them whenever it has to do with issues of governance so that they will all enjoy dividends of democracy.
Among dignitaries at the event were, Mr Gbenga Omotosho, Hon Commissioner For Information Lagos State, Engr. Fatai Oyesanya, LCDA Chairman Ikosi-Isheri his counterpart in Agboyi-Ketu, Dele Mayor, Ag. State Publicity Secretary of APC Hon. Abiodun Salami, Oba Samuel Alamu Oloyede, the Onikosi of Ikosi, Oba [Dr] Isiaka Oyero Alaketu of Ketuland.
