John Fashanu, before he met Rachel, was an item in the public domain over her controversial separation with Abigail Igwe. Their union did not produce a child while it lasted. However, John’s new beau, Rachel is divorced with a son.

At the twilight of his relationship with Abigael, John cried to the public that Abigail threatened him with knives after she accused him of sleeping with their maid.

The former footballer turned fitness expert thereafter sued for divorce with further claims that his life was being threatened. He went on to allege that Abigail committed adultery with another woman who she calls her ‘spiritual partner’. However, the 48-year-old Abigail denied these allegations saying her ex-husband is ‘sick and needs help’.
