TWO YEARS AFTER: HON. KASUNMU REMEMBERS LATE CHIEF (MRS) KEMI NELSON

Ranking Legislator representting Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon.(Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, also known as ARK, has penned an emotional message to commemorate the second remembrance anniversary of the late iconic politician, Chief(Mrs) Kemi Nelson.

The highly revered female politician, who was a godmother and aunty to Hon. Kasunmu passed away on 17th July 2022 after a brief illness.
During her lifetime, she served as the South West Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC); She also as a Commissioner for women Affiars and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos state when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. She was also a director on the board of NSTIF during President Buhari’s regime. She was a seasoned grassroots politician who played crucial roles in the successive victories of APC in Lagos State, especially in Ikeja, where she held forte as the political leader.

In a heart-touching message marking the second anniversary of her demise, Hon. Kasunmu eulogized the late icon of beauty and and declared that her legacy will forever be cherished.

As a mother figure, mentor, advocate, and role model, you selflessly guided and supported me, shaping my journey and nurturing my growth. Your unwavering belief in me and your tireless support of my aspirations will forever be cherished. Your dedication to empowering women, youth and the masses will forever remain an inspiration
