Why I Want To Represent Amuwo-Odofin Constituency At Lagos House of Assembly…Hon Rotimi Gbajabiamila
As the electioneering activities hots up across the country, Politicians are putting everything in place to make sure they get to participate during the general election
in 2023. The first step to achieve that aim is intra-party politics, to get the ticket to represent your party. One of the very hopefuls to clinch the ticket to represent his Constituency, Amuwo-Odofin in the Lagos State House of Assembly is Hon Rotimi Gbajabiamila, though he affirmed he his relatively new in politics, but his background having has many of his Uncles including the present Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila in politics for long has prepared has moulded his interest to also serve the people of his constituency. Recently while speaking to Journalists on why he decided to vie for the seat, Hon Gbajabiamila in his word says : I wish to give our people in Amuwo-Odofin Constituency a proper representation they havent experienced before now, some of us have been outside this country to know how things are done properly. Amuwo-Odofin. Our people have need a passionate leader that knows where shoes pinches them, We need lawmaking that will facilitate good road network to Amuwo-Odofin, improved security system, upliftment of our hospital facilities as well as Schools in the Constituency”
While speaking on his experience before and what could propel him to win the ticket, Hon Gbajabiamila opened up : I won’t lie about that, I joined politics a couple of years back but I have not been really active. Though I follow the activities of my Uncle as the Speaker of the House of Representative, I have been doing some empowerment for people in my community just as part of my own contribution. Now, I wish to affect my people positively on a large scale by contesting and winning the seat to represent Amuwo-Odofin in the Lagos State House of Assembly.” ,
On his family and educational background the Young Politician with grassroot popularity says “i was born into the family of Gbajabiamila and I am the first child of my mother, I attended Amuwo-Odofin primary school, and also Imoye High School before completing my secondary School at Amuwo-Odofin secondary school. I later went to University of Lagos before traveling to the United State of America where I did a professional course on PEC Safety on Petroleum Drilling
