Why We Organized Stakeholders’ Meeting. -Hon. Olayiwola

The annual Stakeholders’ meeting organize by the Lagos State House of Assembly serves as a good feedback mechanism and means to proactively call governments to their responsibilities.
Hon. Olawale Olayiwola, representing Mushin Constituency II  in the Assembly, stated this while addressing residents during the third edition of the Assembly’s Constituency and Stakeholders’ meeting.
Popularly called Hon. Omititi, Hon. Olayiwola said that the purpose of the meeting was to allow the residents to air their views on various activities of the government and to highlight critical needs at which the government attentions are important. 
“The significance of this Constituency meeting is to bring our people together, it is a way of feedback mechanism to interface with them to get feedback on how far we are faring and what their yearnings look like. 
“What do they want from the State government and how far we have gone on implementing the 2017 Budget,” he said.
However, during the programme, over 200 computer students graduated from Hon. Olayiwola’s free computer training programme and 4 new laptops were presented to 4 best students.
The free Computer training initiative, according to the lawmaker was established in 2nd of June, 2002 and has produced over 2000 trained students among whom was Nigeria’s female football star, Azeezat Osoala when she was with FC Robo in Mushin LGA.
Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon aka GOS commended Hon. Olawale and remarked that he has been doing great things in his constituency and free ICT is one of them. He thanked the beneficiaries for participating in the program and prayed for Hon. Omititi to do more.
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion include Hon. Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla BYA, Chairman of Mushin LG, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye amongst others.
