YEAR 2020: SIJU ILUYOMADE, ARISE WOMEN PLANS BIG, OVER 30,000 WOMEN TO BENEFIT FROM EMPOWERMENT, SKILLS ACQUISITION AND MANY MORE
One of the biggest charity organization in Nigeria, Arise Women, Founded by delectable but unassuming Dr Siju Iluyomade have already started making plans to up the socio-empowerment activities of the non-governmental organization in a bid to reach out to more people in the year 2020. This is because the Arise team having had a successful human capital development and empowerment activities for over 10,000 less privileged in the society, majorly women have seen the huge level of lack of social amenities in the country.
Hence, the foundation championed by energetic Lawyer of decades, Siju as she is foundly called are already planning big for the year 2020 that will see Arise Women increase its humanitarian and charity activities not only within Lagos and Abuja that it currently concentrates her base but also many parts in the North
According to the convener, all the achievement recorded by Arise Women in 2019 will be dwarfed by 2020 by Gods grace. She said, hopefully not less than 20000 individuals, mostly women within Lagos, Abuja, Akwa-Ibom, Kebbi and many other states will benefits from the 12th edition of Arise Women empowerment activities.
It will be recalled that, after a successful activities in 2019 which includes Arise Vocational & Skills Acquisition programme in Lagos, Arise Health Walk and Arise Women Conference, the team moved to Abuja where the two adopted villages Dafara and Kabusa beneftted immensely from the foundation’s gestures. Among other things in Abuja, the NGO commissioned a new borehole for the communities and enlisted hundreds of women into Arise Women Farmers’ Foundation while it also distributed over 10,000 different items including bags of rice, school bags, soaps, buckets and back-to-school items for the kids.
It has been well articulated in so many quarters that Siju Iluyomade’s drive to help the needy since 2008 when Arise Women took effect, has indeed blossomed. The need to help, particularly womenfolk, has increasingly endeared her to many beyond the shores of Africa.
